A.P. SAVE EDUCATION MOVEMENT HISTORICAL RALLY

Andhra Pradesh ABVP unit decided to start a continues students movement against the Govt. Anti student policies in the name of "Vidyaranga Parirakshananodyamam (SAVE EDUCATION MOVEMENT)" and announced a chain of agitation programmes from June onwards. Various forms of agitations:

  • College survey
  • College Darbar
  • High school's classes boycott on June 20th
  • College classes boycott on June 27th
  • Picketing Dist collector's offices on July 18th
  • State wide student leaders convention
  • Sangharshana saptaha
  • Challo! University
  • Signature campaign
  • Vidyarthi shakthi pradarshan

VIDYARTHI SHAKTHI PRADARSHANA-State level rally
ABVP Successfully organized a mammoth path breaking student rally in the capital of AP on 28th Nov with 55,172 boys and 389 girls from 338 places throughout the state took part in this rally. Though thousands of students expressing their anger against state govt. anti student policies, there was no any untoward incident, entire rally was went on peaceful. Before converging in to single rally there were three rallies simultaneously started from three different locations- one from osmania university, second from Secundarabad railway station & third from Bahlingam pally park. Each rally was lead by tabloo's dipicting the pathetic conditions of students of Andhra Pradesh. All these rallies culminated at Nizam college grounds where a massive public meeting was addressed by Shri Harendra Kumar, All-India joint org. secretary,Shri Kasam Venkateshwarlu,National secretary, Shri V. Raghava,.State sec As a result of this rally the state govt has declared its decision to trifurcate the Board of Intermediate Education and alloted Rs 70 crores towards fulfilling the basic eminities in govt. colleges.
